Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Business website address. You may enter your business website to request a free assessment of your phone handling.
  • Contact details. If you book a consultation, you provide your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
  • Consent preferences. Whether you have agreed to receive text messages from us.
  • Anything you tell us. Questions you ask, corrections you make to information we show you, and messages you send us.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage information. Pages viewed, actions taken on the Site, approximate timing of those actions, and the general sequence of your visit. We use this to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
  • Device and connection information. Browser type, operating system, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. We store the hash rather than the IP address itself so that we can apply rate limits and detect abuse without retaining your IP address.
  • Cookies and local storage. We use browser storage to keep your session working and to remember your place if you return. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not permit third-party advertising networks to track you on our Site.

Information from public sources

When you request an assessment, we retrieve publicly available information about the business at the website address you provide — for example, the pages on that site, publicly listed contact details, and publicly visible business listings. We only retrieve what is publicly accessible. We do not purchase contact lists and we do not acquire personal information from data brokers.

03

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • run the assessment you requested and show you the result;
  • respond to questions you ask us;
  • schedule, confirm, and remind you about consultations you book;
  • provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and the Services;
  • keep records of consent, and honor opt-out requests;
  • detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and automated misuse of the Site;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

04

Text messaging and your mobile information

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you messages about the assessment you requested, consultations you have booked, and replies to questions you have asked us. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages under this program, and we do not send text messages to anyone who has not provided their own number and agreed to receive them.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. Opting out of text messages does not affect your ability to use the Site or to contact us by email.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services on our behalf — for example, the messaging platform that delivers our messages — is permitted solely so that those services can be provided to you. All other categories of use exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

05

How we share information

We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use third-party providers to host the Site, deliver messages, schedule appointments, and store data. They may process your information only on our instructions and only to provide those services to us. They may not use it for their own purposes.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if we are required to by law, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with anyone for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances.

06

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above.

  • Assessment sessions and the activity recorded during them are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymized.
  • Contact details and consent records are retained while you are a customer or an active contact, and afterwards for as long as needed to show that consent was given and honored, or as required by law.
  • Hashed IP addresses are retained for up to 12 months for security and abuse prevention.

You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 8).

07

Security

We protect information with access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted administrative access. Records that identify you are stored separately from the rate-limiting and abuse-prevention data described above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08

Your choices and rights

  • Opt out of text messages. Reply STOP to any message, or email [email protected].
  • Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
  • Marketing email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages about a consultation you booked are not marketing.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to know what information we hold, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any right, contact us at the address above.

09

Children

The Site and the Services are intended for businesses and for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
